Toby McKeehan was born Kevin Michael McKeehan on October 22, 1964. He is better known by his stage name, TobyMac. He is a Christian recording artist, music producer, rapper, singer-songwriter, and author.
TobyMac is one of the worlds first Christian rappers. He was first known as a mebmer of the Christian music trio DC Talk, and he stayed with them from 1987 until their announced hiatus in 2000. since then, he has taken the part of a sucessful solo singer, making four studio albums. Between DC Talk and his solo career as TobyMac, he has sold over 10 million albums. When his album Alive and Transported was released, it recived a Grammy Award for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album at the 51st Grammy Awards in 2009.
